1. Confirm Vehicle & Factory
For Model Y, use the live vehicle selector and confirm the production factory where required. Registration year alone may not identify the correct repeater housing.
2. Compare the Physical Housing
Compare your side camera and repeater shape with the selected product mold before exposing the adhesive.
3. Clean the Surface
Remove wax, oil, dust and moisture from the repeater housing with a surface-safe cleaner and allow it to dry.
4. Dry-Fit Before Bonding
Center the camera-lens opening and check the turn-signal area. Do not use a cover that rocks, requires force or overlaps any functional opening.
5. Bond with 3M Adhesive
Remove the adhesive liner only after fitment is confirmed, then align carefully and press the carbon cover evenly against the original housing.
6. Inspect the Camera Feed
After installation, inspect the live side-camera image in good lighting and verify there is no edge obstruction, reflection or abnormal camera warning.
Model Y Factory Is Part of Fitment
Current Model Y options are separated between German, Chinese and USA production groups because side-repeater housing geometry varies. Select by the actual factory and applicable production period rather than model year alone.
Model YL / Model Y Standard 2026+
The latest manufacturer source groups Model YL and Model Y Standard 2026+ with the refreshed Highland / Juniper housing, but these options are not yet shown in the current TESKAY selector. Confirm fitment before selling this part for those models.
