How to Confirm a Correct Fit

1. Basket Drops Into the Opening Without Force
The mesh section should enter the washer-fluid filler neck naturally without crushing, bending or trimming.

2. Flange Sits Flat

3. Original Cap Closes Normally
The factory washer-fluid cap must close and lock normally above the installed filter without additional force.

⚠️ Remove the Filter if the Geometry Conflicts

Do not use the filter if the flange rocks, tilts or remains raised above the opening; if the mesh needs to be crushed, bent or trimmed to fit; or if the original washer-fluid cap becomes difficult to close or no longer seals normally.

Installation & Refilling

1. Park & Locate the Correct Cap

2. Clean Around the Opening
Wipe away loose dust, leaves and grit before opening the cap so debris cannot fall directly into the reservoir.

3. Drop In the Filter Basket
Lower the clean basket into the washer-fluid opening without force and confirm that the flat flange sits evenly.

4. Pour Washer Fluid Slowly
Add manufacturer-appropriate washer fluid at a controlled rate. Fine mesh can slow the flow, so pause if fluid begins pooling around the rim.

5. Clear Debris & Close the Cap
Remove trapped debris, reseat the clean basket and verify that the original cap closes and locks normally.

Fine Mesh Can Slow Refill Flow

A fine stainless-steel screen naturally restricts flow more than an open filler neck. Pour washer fluid slowly and pause if it pools near the rim. Significantly reduced flow can also indicate that the mesh needs cleaning.
