1. Confirm Vehicle Fitment
Verify the exact vehicle model and rear console design. Current selectable versions are Model S 2021+ and Model X 2023+.
2. Clean the Factory Surface
Remove dust, fingerprints, grease and interior detailing residue from the rear screen surround before applying the overlay.
3. Test-Fit Before Removing Adhesive
Place the carbon frame over the console first to confirm alignment around the screen and surrounding trim.
4. Remove the Adhesive Backing
Peel the protective film from the pre-applied adhesive only after the correct position has been confirmed.
5. Align and Apply
Carefully lower the overlay into position without allowing the adhesive to grab before the edges are correctly aligned.
6. Press Firmly
Press across the overlay with a clean microfiber cloth for approximately 30 seconds to establish uniform adhesive contact.
No Screen Removal or Electrical Work
This is a cosmetic overlay. Installation does not require replacing the rear display, disconnecting its wiring, drilling the center console or modifying vehicle software.
