Installation Overview

1. Clean the Bumper Surface
Clean the installation area with alcohol or a suitable automotive surface cleaner and remove dust, wax, oil and other residue.

2. Dry the Surface
Make sure the bumper is completely dry before applying the adhesive.

3. Test-Fit Both Pieces
Position the left and right trim covers before removing the adhesive liner and confirm that the contours align correctly.

4. Remove the Adhesive Backing
Carefully peel away the protective liner from the pre-applied 3M adhesive.

5. Align & Apply
Place each trim piece onto the intended bumper area and verify alignment before applying full pressure.

6. Press Firmly
Apply even pressure across the bonded areas for several seconds to help establish proper adhesive contact.

⚠️ Test-Fit Before Removing the Adhesive Liner

Confirm the left/right orientation and bumper alignment before exposing the adhesive. Do not force a trim piece into position if the contour does not naturally match the bumper.

⚠️ Avoid Immediate Washing After Installation

The supplier recommends avoiding washing the vehicle immediately after installation. Allow the adhesive time to establish a secure bond before exposing the trim to heavy water pressure or an automatic car wash.
