Left (LH)
The lower cover for the vehicle's left exterior mirror.

Right (RH)
The lower cover for the vehicle's right exterior mirror.

Determine the side while seated in the vehicle and facing forward. On a left-hand-drive vehicle, LH is normally the driver side and RH is the passenger side.

Each item is sold individually. To replace both mirror covers, order one Left (LH) and one Right (RH).

This is the lower mirror housing cover, not the painted upper mirror cap or the complete mirror assembly. The mirror glass, adjustment motor, folding mechanism, and other electrical components are not included.

Before ordering, confirm the side, outer profile, curved opening, and retaining-tab layout. If the original housing's mounting tabs are broken, the replacement cover may not secure correctly.

Installation Overview

1. Inspect the Existing Mirror Housing
Check the damaged cover and confirm that the underlying mirror housing and attachment points remain intact.

2. Remove the Damaged Lower Cover
Carefully release the existing cover using an appropriate trim tool. Access may require removal of surrounding mirror components.

3. Compare the Replacement Part
Match the new cover's shape and retaining tabs to the removed component before installation.

4. Align the Retaining Tabs
Position the new cover around the mirror housing and align the mounting points.

5. Secure the Cover
Press the cover evenly into place. Stop and realign if it resists rather than forcing the retaining tabs.

6. Check Mirror Operation
Confirm that the cover is secure and that the mirror adjusts and folds normally before driving.

⚠️ Installation Tips

Mirror cover replacement may require careful disassembly around the mirror glass and upper housing. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive trim repair.

Do not force the replacement shell into position. Broken retaining tabs or incorrect alignment may prevent the cover from securing properly.
