Remove dust, oil, dressing residue and fingerprints from the original upper door-panel surfaces and allow them to dry.

2. Test-Fit Every Piece

Place each carbon overlay against its matching door before removing the adhesive backing to confirm orientation and alignment.

3. Align the Ambient-Light Channel

Confirm the molded edge and opening around the factory ambient-lighting area are correctly positioned before bonding.

4. Peel the 3M Backing

Remove the protective backing from the pre-applied automotive adhesive only after the final position is confirmed.

5. Position & Press Firmly

Carefully lower the overlay into place and apply even pressure across the bonded area for approximately 30–60 seconds.

6. Inspect All Four Doors

Check edge seating, adhesive contact and ambient-light visibility on every installed piece before completing the job.
