2. Clean the Painted Surface
Remove dust, grease, wax and detailing products from the area surrounding the factory striker, then allow it to dry.
3. Dry-Fit Before Sticking
Place the carbon cover over the striker area first to confirm orientation, edge clearance and latch movement.
4. Remove the Adhesive Liner
Peel away the protective backing from the pre-applied adhesive after the correct orientation is confirmed.
5. Align Around the Metal Loop
Position the center opening around the factory striker without forcing the carbon piece against the metal hardware.
6. Press Evenly Into Place
Apply firm, even pressure around the carbon cover to establish full adhesive contact before repeating the process on the remaining doors.
No Door-Striker Removal Required
The carbon piece installs around the existing metal striker. There is no need to loosen the factory striker bolts, remove the locking hardware or alter door alignment.
