Does this ring need to be charged?

No. The ring uses passive NFC technology similar to a Tesla key card. It receives the energy required for communication from the vehicle’s card reader, so it does not require batteries or charging.

How do I pair it with my Tesla?

On your Tesla touchscreen, navigate to Locks > Keys > Add Key. Follow the on-screen instructions and tap the ring against the center console card reader when prompted. Keep an existing authenticated key card nearby during setup.

Where should I tap the ring?

To unlock the vehicle, hold the ring close to the key-card reader area on the driver-side B-pillar. To authorize driving, place the ring close to the designated card-reader area on the center console.

Can one ring be paired with more than one Tesla?

The ring may be added as a key to multiple compatible Tesla vehicles by completing the pairing process separately in each vehicle. Available functions may vary depending on the vehicle model, production year, and software version.

What should I do if I am between two ring sizes?

Choose the larger available size for a more comfortable fit. Because this is a custom-made product, carefully confirm your standard US ring size before placing your order.
