This product does not contain the large 12V-to-30V conversion module found in some Starlink Mini car chargers. It connects compatible 12V/24V vehicle DC power directly to the Starlink Mini DC input.

1. Confirm the Vehicle Socket
Verify that the accessory socket provides compatible 12V or 24V DC power and is capable of supporting the Starlink Mini load.
2. Insert the Car Plug
Push the cigarette-lighter plug fully into the vehicle power socket for a secure electrical connection.
3. Check the Red Indicator
Confirm that the red power indicator on the vehicle plug illuminates before connecting the dish.
4. Route the Cable Safely
Keep the cable away from pedals, steering components, airbags, sharp edges, hot surfaces and door pinch points.
5. Connect the Mini DC Plug
Insert the sealed 5.5 × 2.1mm DC connector into the Starlink Mini power port and verify a firm connection.
6. Position Starlink Mini
Place the Mini where it has the clearest practical view of the sky while keeping the cable protected and securely routed.
Long 12V Cable Runs Can Experience Voltage Drop
Starlink Mini supports 12V input, but long cable runs, undersized wiring or a weak vehicle socket can reduce the voltage reaching the dish. If Mini restarts or behaves inconsistently, check socket voltage, cable length, connections and the vehicle electrical system.
Disconnect During Long-Term Parking
If your vehicle accessory socket remains powered while the vehicle is off, disconnect the cable during extended parking to avoid unnecessary vehicle-battery drain.
