1. Choose the Mounting Position
Select a flat lower-door area where the projector can aim toward the pavement without contacting the sill or vehicle body when the door closes.
2. Clean and Dry the Surface
Remove dust, oil, wax and interior-detailing residue from the intended mounting area and allow it to dry completely.
3. Test the Projection Angle
Hold the projector in position first and check where the wing pattern lands before removing the adhesive backing.
4. Remove the Adhesive Backing
Peel the protective liner from the back of the projector only after final positioning has been confirmed.
5. Press Firmly for 30 Seconds
Apply even pressure across the module for at least 30 seconds to establish adhesive contact.
6. Allow the Adhesive to Set
The current manufacturer recommends waiting at least 30 minutes before repeated door operation and final testing.
Check Door Clearance Before Sticking the Light Down
Because the projector sits on the door surface, test the selected location carefully to make sure the module does not contact the door sill, weather seal or body when the door closes.
No Factory Light Removal, Drilling or Wire Splicing
