22kW Is the Cable Rating — Not a Guaranteed Vehicle Charging Rate
Actual charging power is determined by the lowest limit among the charging station, electrical supply, cable and vehicle's onboard AC charger. A vehicle limited to 11kW AC will still charge at no more than approximately 11kW even when connected with this 22kW-rated cable.

Confirm Both the Vehicle and Charging Station
1. Check the Vehicle Port
The vehicle must accept a Type 2 AC charging connector. This cable is not intended for NACS-only or J1772-only vehicle inlets without the correct compatible adapter.
2. Check the Charging Station
The charger must provide a Type 2 socket for a detachable cable. A station with its own permanently attached cable does not require this Type 2-to-Type 2 lead.
3. Check the Vehicle AC Limit
Verify the maximum AC charging capability of your exact EV. Many vehicles are limited to 7kW or 11kW even when connected to a 22kW charging station.
4. Connect the Charging Station
Insert the station-side Type 2 connector fully into the compatible charging-point socket.
5. Connect the Vehicle
Insert the vehicle-side Type 2 connector and confirm that the vehicle reports an active AC charging session.
6. Disconnect & Store Carefully
Stop the charging session, unlock the connector, disconnect from the vehicle and charging station, then loosely coil the cable before storage.
Tesla Owners: Do Not Assume 22kW Charging
The cable can carry up to 22kW, but many Type 2-equipped Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles are limited to around 11kW AC charging. Always check the AC onboard-charger rating of the exact vehicle and market version.
AC Type 2 Cable — Not a DC Fast-Charging Cable
This is a Mode 3 AC charging cable. It does not replace a CCS2 DC fast-charging connector and cannot convert an AC charging station into a DC fast charger.
